Here are four times Alabama’s Gulf Coast wishes you a Merry Christmas. It’s Christmastime at the beach and y’all are invited to enjoy it with us. Just look at how much fun is headed our way. And, it doesn’t even matter if you’ve been naughty or nice.
Gulf Shores is ready to kick off the holiday season and it all begins on December 1st. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m., filled with lighted floats, holiday characters and marching bands. After the parade, join us over at Sims Park for pictures with Santa, holiday treats, crafts and a snowball drop. This is one blizzard you won’t want to miss as 4,000 numbered ping pong balls drop for prizes!
Gulf State Park’s Coastal Christmas Party is everybody’s favorite family friendly event on December 3rd. There’ll be photos with Santa, marshmallows by the fire, hot chocolate, holiday crafts and a performance by a children’s choir.
Another favorite family event occurs on December 9th when Billy Claus arrives in style at Lulu’s! As Santa’s younger brother, Billy helps Santa collect toy lists from children. There’ll also be arts and crafts, a letter writing station and photos with Billy. The night really lights up as The Nautical Night of Lights Boat Parade begins, too!
There are great family friendly events all month long and that includes New Year’s Eve. Bring your family for Lulu’s annual party that starts at 10 a.m. with a beach ball drop at noon. It’s free with lots of fun for all ages!
